NOWSHERA VIRKAN Gujranwala District is situated on the main railway line connecting Lahore and Peshawar. The Grand Trunk Road runs parallel to the railway line and passes through the centre of the city, mostly the old city being on the west and new abadies on the east. The Chenab river forms the northern boundary of the district. Beyond the river it is bounded by Gujrat and Mandi Bahauddin districts, on the east by Sialkot district, on the south by Sheikhupura district and on the west by Hafizabad district.Gujranwala district is spread over an area of 3,622 Square Kilometres comprising of following seven Towns.

SITUATED:
Nowshera Virkan is a big and famous Tehsile. It is situated at about 40km
from Gujranwala city in District Gujranwala (Punjab Province of Pakistan). It is on the
bank of Shekhupura-Hafizabad-Kamoke-. It is in PP 100,
l PML (N) is MPA of this constituency and
NA 100, mna (N) is MNA of this Constituency. It is thickly populated Tehsile.
VILLAGES:
Noshehra Virkan is a tehsil and large town west of the industrial city of Gujranwala, Pakistan.
Nowshera Virkan lies in the Gujranwala District; it is a hub of rice-growing villages.Many tribes came and settled here for ever.
The area of Nowshera Virkan is populated with many different castes including "Mughals, Rajputs, Jutts, Gujjers, and many others. The wheat industry is very popular in this tehsil. POPULATION AND CROPS:
Its population is about 100000. Most of the people are farmers and traders and
other are in the Government jobs. It has fertile land. Wheat and
Rice are its major crops. Rice of Noshehra Virkan are considered superior
quality due
to its length and cooking quality. Its economics base on agriculture,
. People of Noshehra Virkan are very friendly.
They live like a family. There are lush green fields around the city. Several
castes are living here.
RELIGIOUS DISTRIBUTION:
At Noshehra Virkan 98% people are Muslim.
PROBLEMS:
(1) Health facilities are not Good here.
(2) Degree College for Boys required. A good number of male students have
